Pastoral Manager

36¼ hours per week, term time only
Scale 6: £21,937 - £23,405 (pro rata) actual salary £18,563 - £19,805 p.a.
Commencement date:  20th April 2009

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with individual pupils as well as with a KS3 year group to support pupil welfare and promote positive attitudes and behaviour. They will encourage and develop parental contact with the College and deliver counselling and mentoring for pupils as required. There will be a need to attend Parents’ Consultations and Awards Ceremonies.  Training will be provided with the person appointed initially working with an experienced Head of Year.
