Programme Director: Performing Arts – TLR2 £4037

We require an outstanding practitioner of drama / dance to lead our newly created faculty of performing arts. This is an important appointment for the college as we look to substantially develop this area of the curriculum.

The Performing Arts Faculty is

  • Located in a suite of specialist rooms
  • Extremely well resourced
  • Staffed by well qualified specialist teachers
  • Expected to expand with further opportunities likely

The person appointed will be

  • An experienced teacher with a proven track record of excellent results
  • Able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills
  • An enthusiastic, energetic and inspirational teacher
  • Seeking to further their leadership and managerial experience

The post is available from September 2009. Hollingworth is a large, mixed, oversubscribed 11-16 specialist Business & Enterprise College in the Pennine Village of Milnrow very near to J21 M62.

Hollingworth was identified as ‘Outstanding’ following our Ofsted inspection in September 2008. We enjoy an excellent reputation in the local community with examination results consistently in the top quartile. We are confident that we can offer exciting prospects and, in particular, we offer:
