Additional Information about Department |
Many students who opt to take the GNVQ ICT course benefit from participation in the school's laptop leasing scheme. This gives them access to the school network, all necessary software and internet access. Pupils participating in the laptop scheme are encouraged to utilise them in other curricular areas.
In the year from Sept 2004 a group of 20 year 9 pupils are starting an accelerated GNVQ course after which they will be able to take AS level ICT in year 11.
